Human–Wildlife Confl icts (ISSN 1934-4392) is a peer-reviewed journal published two times a year by the Jack H. Berryman Institute, Department of Wildland Resources, Utah State University, Logan, UT 84322-5230. If you would like to receive a free copy of this journal, please send your name and mailing address to the Jack H. Berryman Institute. Material appearing in Human–Wildlife Conflicts may not be reproduced in any form without the written consent of the publisher.

Journal Subject Area

Human–wildlife conflicts occur when humans or wildlife are having an adverse impact upon the other. Human–Wildlife Conflicts publishes manuscripts on all aspects of human–wildlife conflicts, particularly
research articles in the areas of wildlife ecology, animal behavior, management applications, economics, and human dimensions. Additionally, we encourage brief articles in the categories of lett ers to the editor, book reviews, opinion pieces, point-counter-point articles, policy issues, notes on research and new techniques, and management notes.

Contributors are encouraged to send manuscripts and cover lett er via e-mail to the editor at hwc@cc.usu.edu or on computer disk by mail to:

Who Should Submit Manuscripts

Anyone is welcome to submit a manuscript, letter, and article to Human–Wildilfe Conflicts. Submissions are especially welcome from people working in operations or with practical fi eld experience. If you have information, an opinion, or idea that should be shared with others in the field of wildlife management, please contact the editor at hwc@cc.usu.edu, and we will assist you in getting your information into print. We also publish a section on human–wildlife conflicts in the news. If you see an article in the media dealing with a human–wildlife conflict, please forward it to the editor with an explanation about where and when it appeared.
